Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the most common questions about working with me — across software, growth, and music.
Who is Farzat Amin?
I'm a Dhaka-based entrepreneur and designer-developer whose work spans websites, SaaS products, automation, SEO and brand systems. I began from a graphic-design background before moving into full-stack development, and today that work extends into agency growth through Tasmio and music through Studio Ghuri and Bortoman Records.
What does Farzat build?
My current service mix includes marketing websites, custom web applications, SaaS products, AI automations, SEO systems, focused software tools/extensions and brand/design systems — see the full breakdown on the Services page.
What is Farzat Amin's role in music?
I work as an executive music producer and co-founder of Studio Ghuri and Bortoman Records. That includes visual/web work for Ghuri Production — website, event branding, artwork — plus creative direction and release strategy. See the Music page for the full profile and release catalog context.
Do you only do design, or only development?
Both, by design. I started as a graphic designer before moving into full-stack development, so I plan the visual system and the technical build together instead of handing a design off to someone else to interpret. That's usually where quality gets lost — I don't let it.
What technologies do you use?
My working stack spans PHP/Laravel, React, Next.js, Firebase, WordPress, Tailwind CSS and JavaScript (vanilla or Alpine.js), with WordPress/WooCommerce for CMS or e-commerce needs. I choose the right tool for each project, not the other way around.
How long does a typical project take?
A focused marketing site usually takes 2–4 weeks from kickoff to launch. A SaaS product or custom application depends heavily on scope, but I'll give you a realistic timeline before any work starts, not an optimistic one.
What's your process like?
Discovery first — understanding your goals, audience, and what's currently not working. Then design, development, launch, and a growth phase where I track real performance and refine based on it. You can see the full breakdown on the Process page.
Do you work with clients outside Bangladesh?
Yes. I'm based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and have delivered projects for clients across 12 countries. Everything is handled remotely with clear communication — timezone differences haven't been a blocker for any project so far.
Can you help with SEO, not just design and development?
Yes. SEO is built into how I structure a site from day one — semantic HTML, proper metadata, fast load times, and clean information architecture — rather than treated as an afterthought bolted on after launch.
How do payments work?
For most projects I work on a 50% upfront / 50% on completion basis. Larger ongoing projects are billed monthly. I accept bank transfer, PayPal, and payments through Freelancer.com for clients who prefer a platform-secured arrangement.
Will I own all the files and source code?
Yes. Once the project is fully paid, you receive complete ownership of all design files (Figma, AI, PDF) and source code. There are no ongoing license fees or lock-in.
Do you offer revisions?
Yes — every project includes a defined number of revision rounds outlined in the proposal. Clear communication at the briefing stage usually means revisions are minor and quick to resolve.
Do you offer ongoing support after launch?
Yes. Most clients stay on for monitoring, updates, and incremental improvements after launch. I'd rather build a long-term relationship than disappear after the invoice is paid.
How do I get started?
Reach out through the contact section or email hi@farzatamin.com with a short summary of what you're trying to build. I reply within 24 hours on business days, with questions before quoting anything.
