My Story

I didn't start out writing code. I started as a graphic designer, sketching layouts, picking typefaces, and learning what makes someone stop scrolling and actually look. That instinct — for what feels right before you can explain why — never left me. It just found a new medium.

I moved into development because I kept hitting the same wall: a beautiful design is only half the job if no one builds it properly. I wanted to control the whole outcome, not hand off a file and hope it survived the build. So I learned to build it myself — and discovered that the same eye that picks spacing and contrast also picks better architecture, cleaner interfaces, and interactions that feel inevitable rather than bolted on.

That background still shapes every technical decision I make. Before I open an editor, I think about hierarchy, rhythm, and what a user actually needs to see first. Design isn't a coat of paint I add at the end — it's the lens I use to decide what to build at all.

I care more about the business problem than the code itself. A client doesn't need a website — they need more inquiries, fewer drop-offs, a brand that's taken seriously. Code, design, and SEO are just the tools I use to get there, and I choose whichever one actually moves the number that matters.

My process is direct: understand the goal, design with intent, build it to perform, and stay involved after launch instead of disappearing. What clients get from me isn't just a deliverable — it's someone who treats their project like it's mine too.
